Kate Shaefer
Hi! I'm a SAG and Equity actress. I performed with The Repertory Theatre of St. Louis as well as appeared as a contestant in Jay Leno's You Bet Your Life. I was a stand-in in Fox's 911: Lone Star, the Hallmark movie Sugar Plum Twist and a body double in an episode of Grey's Anatomy.
I recently played Holly Gennaro in Theatre Unleashed's A Very Die Hard Christmas.
Some of my training includes acting at the Art of Acting Studio with James Leo Ryan, improv at The Groundlings with Henry Watkins, voice with Sherry Shaoling, and dance at the Pasadena Dance Theatre.
Besides acting, I am a trained singer. I am a mezzo-soprano with an emphasis on modern pop/rock belting. I love tight-knit harmonizing, can read sheet music, and play guitar.
